Gender equality is a fundamental human right, but it is still not a reality for many people around the world. In rural areas, women and girls often face discrimination and inequality in all aspects of their lives, from education and employment to healthcare and decision-making.
This project aims to promote gender equality in rural families by supporting the creation of little clubs and NGOs that will provide women with the resources and support they need to break out of poverty and live full and empowered lives.
The project will focus on the following areas:
- Economic empowerment: The project will provide women with access to training and resources to start and grow their own businesses. This will help them to generate income and become more independent.
- Education: The project will provide girls and women with access to education and training, which will help them to develop their skills and knowledge and improve their job prospects.
- Healthcare: The project will provide women and girls with access to quality healthcare, including reproductive health services. This will help them to stay healthy and live longer, more productive lives.
- Decision-making: The project will support women to participate more actively in decision-making at all levels, from the household to the community. This will help to ensure that their voices are heard and that their needs are taken into account.
The project has a budget of $25,000, which will be used to cover the following costs:
- Training and resources for women: $10,000
- Education and training for girls and women: $5,000
- Healthcare: $5,000
- Support for women's participation in decision-making: $5,000
The project is expected to benefit over 1,000 women and girls in rural areas. It is hoped that the project will help to reduce poverty and inequality in rural families and create a more just and equitable society.
